I am at my best when helping others. I will try to prevent times when I’m impatient. I will enjoy my work by finding employment where I can collaborate with others. I will find enjoyment in my personal life through spending time with friends and family. I will find opportunities to use my natural talents and gifts such as being a friend, execution, goal setting, meeting new people, organizing, including others, and being curious. I can do anything I set my mind to. I will create technology that would impact the world for good.
My life’s journey includes leading a team of tech marketers, educating the world on tools that will improve their lives. My wife and children are supported by this venture and support me in it. I have become an industry expert and internationally recognized in my field.
At my funeral they will say that Josh was a great husband and father. He was also a talented tech marketing leader. He was devoted to God and served others well. Josh understood many different cultures and perspectives through his many travels throughout the globe. He loved his life and even more importantly, the people he got to experience it with.
My most important future contribution to others will be providing love, time and attention.
I will stop procrastinating and start working on:
Overcome fears of learning new things
Letting go of certain ideas
Increase my critical thinking and thought leadership skills
I will strive to incorporate the following attributes into my life:
Intelligence
Spirituality
Vision
I will constantly renew myself by focusing on the four dimensions of my life:
Exercise and eat right
Study scriptures, pray, serve
Read and study industry relevant materials
Spend time with friends

Personality-Career Fit
I think it is appropriate in this “About Me” section of my site to share why I’ve chosen the career I have as a result of the other facts I’ve laid out to describe my personality. You should know who you are and what your strengths are in order to center yourself on a career that you can have success in.
Why Tech?
I love bringing the benefits of technology to others.
Why Software?
The WSJ article Why Software is Eating the World by Marc Andreessen pretty much sums up why software is crushing it. The TL;DR is the largest media company in the world doesn’t create any content (Facebook), the largest hospitality business doesn’t own any properties (AirBnB) and the largest taxi company doesn’t’ have any cars (Uber).
Why Product Marketing?
I’m passionate about connecting users to product solutions to solve their pain points. Creating a narrative around around that solution is what product marketing is all about.
Diving into customer problems and understanding their mindset is key. Collaborating with product, sales and marketing to bring new products to market is part of what makes someone in this role successful. Transforming technical jargon into meaningful stories that drive adoption through messaging and positioning statements is critical to success.
What skills are needed?
Creativity and problem solving
Strategic planning
Strong communication
Collaboration
Empathy and ability to connect with customer
Research and analytical skills
Content creation and copy-writing
